Our Management Committee comprises of a small number of stallholders at our Market who put their hand up to have a say in the management of the Market from behind the scenes. Our Management Committee are all volunteers and we are incredibly grateful to have them all. The Management Committee make decisions throughout the year about which new stalls will join the market and other important matters that affect the Market.

Every year at our Annual General Meeting our new Management Committee is nominated and determined by the Market’s members. Our AGM is every November, which means that at the start of every new calendar year we start the year with our new Management Committee.

For 2025, our Management Committee members are:

Will is our resident banana farmer from Eungella and has been a stallholder since the first market in 2011. Will has been on the Management Committee as an ordinary member for in the region of 10 years. Last year Will with his wide local and farming expertise stepped up into the role of President leading our Market forward.

Bron is one of our food vendors at the market and has been on the Management Committee for nearly 4 years. In that time Bronwyn has been the Secretary, Public Officer and now the Treasurer and Vice President – she has worn many hats. Bron brings a sense of calm to our Committee.

Sylva is an organic vegetable farmer from Eungella and has been a stallholder since the first market in 2011. This is Sylva’s first year on the Committee and she brings with her her experience as a stallholder for such a long period of time and local knowledge to the Committee.

Toby is an organic vegetable grower at the Market. Toby has been with the Market for two years since starting his own farm in Duranbah. This is Toby’s first year on the Management Committee and he brings with him an insight into starting life as a farmer. Toby also brings a new lease of life into the Committee with his fresh perspective using AI to improve the Market.

Greg is one of our value-add stalls as he brings with him his hot smoked products to the Market. Greg has been a stallholder at the Market for 2 years and this is his first year on the Management Committee. Greg brings with him a wealth of expertise as a result of his extensive market experience and forward thinking.

Gavin is the Assistant Market Manager and brings a completely different perspective to the Management Committee than any other member. Gavin has worked as part of the Market Management career for in excess of 20 years and brings a wealth of knowledge about market logistics, set up and innovations to move the Market forward.
